DRAGONFLIES
Intercultural Performance Studio
Brutal and often adsurb in its storytelling, Dragonflies tells the story of two men who have borne witness to the torture that has been inflicted on their land and people. As they give voice to the victims who have faced brutality for the sake of 'development', they are confronted with questions about where hop lies.
Unearthing the stories of the voiceless - the dead and the dying, the unborn and the castrated, Dragonflies is about two men trying to sow dream back into their land.
The project was an intercultural collaboration between Indian and West African artists.
Directed by Swati Simha
Written by Ramneek Singh
